A 2025 remastered reissue of the final demo recorded by the Swedish folk metal band OTYG in 1997. Recorded prior to the release of their official album, this is a significant work containing the prototypes of the songs that would later evolve into their first full-length album, *Alvefard*. Built on ancient melodies and unrestrained rhythms, traditional instruments such as the violin, flute, and lute intertwine with guitars, vividly portraying Nordic lyricism and a rustic, indigenous spirit. The soundscape is raw and visceral; while retaining the unpolished texture characteristic of demos, the band’s unique style—a fusion of folk and metal—is already clearly evident. The 2025 remaster carefully restores the sound from the original tapes, enhancing clarity and depth without sacrificing the raw edge.
