Anne Wilson, who has been active with Heart since the 1970s and continues to attract many fans as a leading female singer in the classic rock scene, has found a new song and sound in Nashville. The long-awaited new album "FIERCE BLISS" is now available, and features such splendid guests as Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Warren Haynes, and Vince Gill. Anne Wilson has been active with Heart since the 1970s and continues to attract many fans as a representative female singer of the classic rock scene. In the summer of 2020, she was introduced to two Nashville session musicians, Tom Bukovac and Tony Lucido, whom she met for the first time. They were a tremendous inspiration to her." It was like a big new door had opened for me," she says, "and the new musical chemistry led me to start recording. At first she thought she would record a few songs and see how it went, but the natural progression was to record an album. At Soundstage Studios in Nashville, Kenny Wayne Shepherd came in and played a few songs with the girls. He not only played guitar, but also brought in a new sound, and the result was a song with a gospel singer.She also wrote songs with Warren Haynes of Gov't Mule, whom she has known for a long time, and played with his band, Gov't Mule, in the background. Before she knew it, she had enough of her favorite songs to make an album. The resulting album, "FIERCE BLISS," also includes a cover of Queen's "Love Of My Life" with modern country star Vince Gill on guest vocals and Robin Trower's tearful blues number "Bridge Of Sighs The album also includes a cover of Robin Trower's weepy blues number "Bridge Of Sighs". Rock fans of yesteryear will also appreciate the fantastic album artwork by Roger Dean. Anne Wilson has been on the scene for a long time and continues to deliver music. The new songs and sounds she discovered in Nashville add another page to her story to tell.
