Ben Pirani's debut album, a soul revival with graceful tracks and mellow vocals, was praised by Jocelyn Brown, and his 2016 7" "Light Of My Life" was a hit with some record collectors, leading him to sign with the prestigious US label Colemine Records. Records. With the re-release of "Light Of My Life" and the new single "Art School Girl / It's Understanding," the band has quickly become a fixture on the scene. The band's arrangements range from sweet vocals over a fast-paced arrangement reminiscent of Latin soul, to mellow vocals over a more sedate track. Originally active in a mod/punk band and a soul record collector, he created this dream form. The arrangements of the songs, which at first listen seem to be reissues from the 60s and 70s, are a sound that only a maniacal record collector like himself could have created."Dreamin's For Free" was selected for the 2018 H&M commercial song, and is an upcoming artist to watch.
