Piano Concertos by Mozart and Reichel!Mozart's Piano Concertos No. 23 and No. 24, completed at about the same time around 1786, are so contrasting that it is hard to believe that they were written by the same composer, as if they were composed in different years or by two equally talented geniuses. Between two such outstanding piano concertos by Mozart, the concerto is simultaneously accompanied by a work by Bernard Reichel (1901-1992), who was born in Switzerland and was composing in Geneva. Reichel continued the tradition of Mozart's concerto symphonies, and his excellent works are not at odds alongside Mozart's works, but make the audience think of them as equal works. Performed by Christian Chamorel, a prizewinner at the Viotti International Music Competition (Vercelli, Italy) and the Beethoven International Piano Competition (Vienna, Austria). Tokyo M-Plus
