This is the 40th anniversary reissue of the live album of Elton John's May 28, 1979 show in Moscow, the first time a Western rock star performed in the Soviet capital during the Cold War, which made his name in the history of mankind! As part of the tour for his new album "A Single Man" at the time, Elton was accompanied by his longtime friend, percussionist Ray Cooper at the historic show (the album "A Single Man" was released on the Soviet Union's state-run Melodiya label and became the first pop star in the western world to be officially released in the Soviet Union). Remastered by Bob Ludwick of Gateway Mastering from the original analog master tapes for BBC Radio's UK broadcasts.
