Description:
Of all the well-funded producers of the late 1970s, none was more enamored with 12-inches than Joe Gibbs. Many of the 12-inches released combined vocals and DJ cuts over the same rhythm, but a few included dub versions of "Topside". This release contains a masterpiece of a long dub mix of the highest quality to come out of the Joe Gibbs Studio. These dubs, mixed by sound engineer Errol Thompson, are almost all tracks on the CD for the first time. This is a highly recommended 2CD, not only for dub lovers, but also as a first-class resource.
