He is a hometown boy of Prince, and his vocal style and production, which seems to be inherited from D.N.A., has attracted attention as a new generation of Minneapolis sound, and also attracted attention as "Motivational" by Corey Wong (Wulfpeck), who was featured on this album with Tom Misch. He is also a leading artist in the ongoing US soul and funk scene, having performed live with Theo Katzman (Wulfpeck) and Joey Dorsick, as well as participating in "Music For The Syncopated Soul" (Wulfpeck) with Tom Misch.This is the first new studio album in a year after his long-awaited first visit to Japan for "Local Green Festival'19" held in 2019, and it is truly neo-soul for adults that goes through the current soul and funk scene via the Minneapolis sound directly from Prince! The album also includes a live session of "U&I" with Theo Katzman and a cover of Stevie Wonder's "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" as bonus tracks exclusive to the Japanese edition.
