International Harvester, a.k.a. "Amon Dur of Scandinavia", who started out as a Swedish heavy psychedelic/freak out group, Person Sound, and later developed into Trad Grass Oak Stainer, changed their name to Harvester in '69 and released their '69 album in '23. Remastered and released in the world's first paper-jacketed CD format! A true pioneer in organizing Sweden's version of Woodstock, "Festen Pagardet", with a political philosophy of resisting environmental destruction spreading under the development of Western culture, the band hated to be confused with the American car company of the same name and changed their name to "Harvester" and released their first album in Sweden, "SILENCE", on the Swedish SILENCE label, "DECIBEL". This album was released in 1969 on the predecessor label DECIBEL.Recorded at "Cafe Markus" owned by the Swedish Communist Youth League, "Hemat" reflects the political and environmental aspects of the previous album, while sublimating it into a heavy psychedelic work that incorporates old Swedish folk songs as its musical roots and yearning for nature. The entire album is a masterpiece of Scandinavian psychedelia, a shamanic, chaotic and insane world!
