Sosei Gakuin" is a school where "Flores," a prestigious women's school that has existed since the Meiji era, and "Slightly," a recently established coeducational general school, coexist. The student, Yuri Izumito, encounters a being called "Tayutai" who protects the land and was released from a 500-year-long seal at the ruins excavated at the academy. He is entrusted by one of the Tayutai, "Kikuramikami no Hime," with a girl named Mashiro, the embodiment of his own life, in order to realize his long-cherished wish of over 500 years: the coexistence of human beings and Tayutai.
