They boldly incorporated elements of electronica, reggae, and baroque music, greatly expanding their musical range. The sound production was further enhanced with the addition of Ariel Rechtscheid as producer in addition to Rostam Batmangli. The album debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. charts and was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of "Best Alternative Music Album," and became a major hit that defined the band's rapid ascent.
