The second album, which became a No.1 hit in the U.S., is synonymous with brass rock! This is the second album released in 1968, the same year as the first album "Child Is Father To The Man" by Blood Sweat and Tears, the standard-bearer of brass rock along with Electric Flag and Chicago. Al Cooper, who had taken the initiative on the previous album, left the group, and Canadian-born David Clayton Thomas joined on vocals.The band's ensemble evolved further, including "Spinning Wheel," which became the group's signature song from the pen of Clayton Thomas, and the album reached No. 1 on the U.S. charts in 1969 and won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1970. It is truly one of the group's representative albums both in name and reality. Includes obi commentary.
