＜The 25th issue of the reissue series in conjunction with "60's GARAGE ROCKIN' OLDAYS", a magazine published by All Days Records under the supervision of Jimmy Masuko, featuring Reeves' first album "Hey Joe", a classic garage band song, and a compilation of 2 This is the 25th in the series of reissues in conjunction with "Garage Disc Guide". Hey Joe" was a favorite of garage bands in the mid-1960s. There must be more than 30 records of "Hey Joe" that have survived. (Some say there are more than 1,600 versions of the song if we include the present version.) One can only imagine what the youth of the time felt about the story of a man who shoots his unfaithful wife and flees to Mexico, but the first hit version of the song was by Reeves. Reeves' story is a typical garage band tale: college kid who can't play an instrument discovers the Beatles, forms a band, quickly charts in the U.S., and then breaks up because they don't get along.Compared to the frustrated Stone's Freak high school student who was expelled from school for having long hair locally, the college student who was blessed to be on and off the Sunset Strip from the beginning, and whose folk-rock songs may be less delinquent, Reeves' non-hit version of "Hey Joe , Where You Gonna Go?" has a whirlwind of unexplainable energy. There are many unforgettable garage versions of 60s bands, such as the Swamp Rats' "Hey Joe" and the psychedelically blistering Golden Cups' "Hey Joe," but Reeves' "Hey Joe, Where You Gonna Go? ~Commentary from Commentary: Jimmy Masuko
