Description:

<Born in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture. He began playing the cello at the age of three under the tutelage of his parents, who are both music teachers. His talent attracted attention from an early age, and he won first prizes in all competitions he entered, including the 74th Japan Music Competition. She won the first prize at the 9th International Rostropovich Cello Competition in Paris as the first Japanese winner. Awarded the 6th Hideo Saito Memorial Fund Prize, the 20th Idemitsu Music Award, and the 13th Hotel Okura Music Award. He is the 35th Ezoe Scholarship recipient of the Ezoe Scholarship Society. Scholarship student of the Rohm Music Foundation. Special student at Toho Gakuen School of Music, and graduated first in his class from the Soloist Diploma Course at Toho Gakuen School of Music.' Graduated from the Geneva Conservatory in 2009 and the Kronberg Academy in '13. She has studied cello with Sumiko Kurata and France Helmerson, and chamber music with the Tokyo Quartet, Sadao Harada, Koichiro Harada, Tomoko Kato, Nobuko Imai, Richard Young, and Gabor Takács-Nazi.He has been actively engaged in concert activities in Japan and abroad, performing with Orchestre de Paris, Frankfurt Sinfonietta, Kaiserslautern Saarbrücken, German Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Lynn Harrell, Gidon Kremer, Yuri Bashmet, Maxim Vengerov, as well as many leading Japanese orchestras. In 2012, his two-hour music documentary "The Day I Talked with Seiji Ozawa-san about Music - Cellist Dai Miyata, 25 Years Old" was broadcasted as a part of the Art Festival. A member of the Mito Chamber Orchestra, he has been using a 1698 Stradivarius "Cholmondeley" on loan from Ueno Seiyaku since October 2014. Universal Music/IMS

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
