Description:
The second musical of the popular otome game "Meiji Toshikogai" with over 300,000 total players! The stage performance that took place at Morinomiya Piloti Hall on August 18 (Sat.) - 19 (Sun.), 2018 and at Theater 1010 on August 25 (Sat.) - September 2 (Sun.), 2018, is now available on Blu-ray! The play is a comical and poignant ensemble love story that combines the limited time spent with charming and unique great men and women in song. The script is by Sayaka Sakuragi, who depicted the world of the original story in the musical "Alice in the Country of Hearts," and the direction is by Kotaro Yoshitani, the director of the musical "Hetalia" and the super-singing play "Bakumatsu Rock. --The story follows a high school student, Mei Ayatsuki (Momoko Suzuki), who is transported back in time to the Meiji era by Charlie (Yuya Asato), a self-proclaimed magician she meets on the night of a red full moon. Without any memory of the present day, Mei finds herself lost in a party at Rokumeikan. At the glamorous party, she finds herself lost in the Rokumeikan, where she meets such historical figures as Shunso Hishida (Shohei Hashimoto), Otojiro Kawakami (Kosuke Youma), Kyoka Izumi (Naoya Kitagawa), Hearn Koizumi (Isle Shiosaki), and Taikan Yokoyama (Tatsumaru Tachibana).Mei wanders around the venue, unable to comprehend her situation, and is interrogated by Goro Fujita (Tasuku Yoshioka), a police officer in charge of security. Mei finds herself in a difficult situation, and it is Mori Ogai (Hirofumi Araki) who saves her by claiming to be her relative. This 2-disc set includes all the gorgeous visual extras in one disc (DVD)! Includes behind-the-scenes behind-the-scenes making-of footage, a roundtable discussion with the cast, a daily showdown between a different pair for each performance, and other gorgeous footage from all performances.
