Description:

Longtime Muddy Waters back-up pianist Pine Top Perkins re-released this Grammy-nominated masterpiece in 2004, and it has been hard to find for a long time. As the title implies, the album features the wonderful voices of many female artists, including Susan Tedeschi, Marsha Ball, Madeleine Perreault, and the late Ruth Brown and Deborah Coleman, among others. The Chicago rhythm section of friends Wee Smith and Bob Stroger, as well as Elvin Bishop and others also participated. The band will perform mainly originals, as well as classic songs by Little Walter, Red Berry, and others.
