EVISBEATS and Nagipan complete their collaborative album "Escape Point". EVISBEATS will release a collaborative album with Nagipan titled "Escape Point" in three formats (LP, CD, and cassette). The album is a musical crystallization of the dialogue and creativity that Nagipan and EVISBEATS have been engaged in since they moved to Wakayama in 2024 and began meeting weekly in their studio in January 2025. The title "Atsumu Point" is derived from the coined word "Atsumu (萃点)" left by Kumagusu Minakata, which means "a place where various things and matters gather and influence each other". The sound reflects their impressions of Wakayama's climate, shrines, mountains and rivers, and the people who live there. The heat lurking in the silence, the moments when different perspectives intersect, and the echoes that could only be born in that region rise up with the warmth of dramatic, lo-fi hip-hop. Transcending genres, transcending time, and gently touching the depths of emotion. Escape Point" is a record of "communion" in the modern age, a work that should be called a pilgrimage of sound.
