Description:
Vivica Juneau sings Bertoni's "Orfeo"! Alaskan mezzo-soprano Vivica Juneau sings Ferdinando Bertoni's (1725-1813) only known opera, "Orfeo e Euridice," an opera in three acts based on the same libretto by Calzavige as Gluck's "Orfeo e Euridice. Based on the same libretto by Calzavige as Gluck's "Orfeo e Euridice," this three-act opera was written for the famous 18th century Italian castrato Gaetano Guadagni, and the role of Orfeo, which Guadagni played, will be recreated by a contemporary great singer.
