Swedish musician Klara Lewis, who has been exploring her unique sonic world for over 40 years, has released a new album on Editions Mego. In this work, which further deepens her signature approach of deconstructing and reconstructing sound, materials such as the ukulele, piano, and field recordings undergo repeated transformations, creating a delicate balance where abstraction and melody, intimacy and unease intertwine. The veiled melodies and rhythms shake the listener’s perception, creating a sonic experience that shifts from the unfamiliar to an unexpected warmth.
