Linkin Park
Description:
The hardest part after it’s all over is starting over. “LINKINPARK:UNSHATTER,” an intimate documentary film about the band directed by Linkin Park’s Joe Hahn. To coincide with the film’s release, the soundtrack—featuring footage from their 2024 São Paulo concert—is set to be released! A 2-disc vinyl LP will also be released simultaneously!! *LINKINPARK:UNSHATTER* is Linkin Park’s first in-depth documentary film. The soundtrack for the film, which opens in theaters worldwide on September 30, is set to be released. Blending rare archival footage, candid behind-the-scenes moments, intimate studio sessions, and electrifying live performances, *UNSHATTER* follows Linkin Park from their early 2022 recording sessions through the production of *FromZero* and their return to the world stage. Directed by Joe Hurn, the film introduces a new chapter for Linkin Park—featuring Emily Armstrong and Colin Britten—while offering an unprecedented glimpse into the band’s creative process and unwavering friendship. *UNSHATTER* captures a very special moment in Linkin Park’s history, documenting their journey through loss, uncertainty, friendship, and redefinition. Director Joe Hahn had this to say about the film: “The title ‘UNSHATTER’ was born from the idea that ‘even something that has been broken can be rebuilt and continue to exist while carrying its scars.’ For me, resilience isn’t about acting as if nothing happened. It’s about accepting what has happened, respecting it, and finding a way to keep moving forward. I felt this best captured both the film and our own journey. This is truly a story about loss, friendship, creativity, and redefining oneself.” This album, *UNSHATTERFILMSOUNDTRACK (LIVE IN SÃO PAULO)*, serves as the soundtrack to that film. Capturing a 2024 performance in São Paulo, Brazil, the album features songs such as “Somewhere I Belong” and “Numb,” “In The End,” and “Bleed It Out,” as well as tracks from their latest album, *FROM ZERO*, all performed in a breathtaking live show by the band’s new lineup—featuring Emily Armstrong and Colin Britten—spanning their entire career. It also includes audio tracks not featured in the film itself. *UNSHATTER* captures a truly special moment in Linkin Park’s history. Its soundtrack is, in turn, a collection of the band’s most precious live performances.
