St. Paul & The Broken Bones" from Alabama consists of Paul Janeway (St. Paul), who leads the band with his overwhelming vocal ability and presence, and Jesse Phillips (B.), who formed the band with him, and a total of eight members on guitar, drums, keyboards, trumpet, saxophone, and trombone. In 2013, the band released the album "Half The City", and has made a name for itself with a sound based on 60's soul and influenced by a variety of music from Sly Stone, Prince to David Bowie, and has garnered support from the media and listeners with a discerning ear. The band has garnered support from a wide range of discerning media and listeners. The band has played numerous shows in the U.S. and Europe, including last year's Coachella and this year's Glastonbury, and has received rave reviews as a live band. Two new horn players have joined the band for this album. Compared to the previous album, the horns are thicker, the organ sounds even louder as if guided by the horns, and the band is louder. St. Paul's vocals have evolved to become more powerful, and the session was recorded as a live, lively, jazzy, rock, and funk session, not just in the mood of the South, as on the previous album.This evolution was consciously executed by the core members, St. Paul and Jesse. The two are also central to the songwriting process, but they also aimed for an emotive enrichment in terms of lyrics. Not only the lead track "All I Ever Wonder," but also "Midnight on the Earth," "Sanctify," "Burning Rome," and many others are filled with uplifting lyrics and thick sounds. With a high-voltage sound that they have honed themselves, they are ready to make their major label debut!
