Rumor has it that they’ve been working on two albums simultaneously; this release, one of them, features contemplative and introspective content, resulting in a profound work stripped of excess noise. The album features numerous guest artists; the title track “Rewind the Film,” which serves as the lead single, is a grand, cinematic song lasting six and a half minutes, featuring singer-songwriter and guitarist Richard Holly, in a grand, cinematic track lasting six and a half minutes, showcasing a side of the Manics never heard before.
