Ben Harper has won numerous Grammy Awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Blues for his 2013 album, "Get Up! When Ben Harper began his reunion tour in 2015, seven years after his last performance with The Innocent Criminals, the band's percussionist Leon Mobley, bassist Juan Nelson, drummer Oliver Charles, keyboardist Jason Yates, and guitarist Michael Ward on guitar intuited that Ben wanted to do more than just revisit old songs. In fact, Ben quickly wrote some great songs for the new album, and recording began immediately. The Innocent Criminals have been involved with many of Ben Harper's works since they started in 1993 until 2008.Under the name Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, the group has produced numerous masterpieces, including "Lifeline," which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2007, "Fight for Your Mind," "The Will to Live," and "Burn to Shine. He was also involved in the production of the 2005 Grammy Award-winning album "There Will Be a Line.
