British progressive rock/modern pop band formed in '75 by Dave Black (g), who later joined SPIDERS FROM MARS, and Dave Whitaker (dr/per), formerly of GINHOUSE, etc. Their only album from '75 was released on Cube in the UK. Long-awaited analog reissue from Merry Go Round/Beatball in '23! The original UK pressing of the album was originally known as a mega-rare copy, but its price has been rising steadily due to its sound, which is loved not only by prog rock fans but also by a wide range of other people. The album is a masterpiece of modern pop, based on a hard sound with Tom Knowles' deep vocals and Dave Black's technical and tasteful guitar, and complemented by John Cook's colorful and sometimes heavy keyboards that make full use of electric piano, string synths, and mellotron.The catchy "Acrobat", "I Believe In You", "Take It Away", "Last Request", a ballad with a wet British sensibility, "In The War", "August Carol", and many more are all pop songs with dramatic ups and downs. The songs, arrangements, and compositions are all flawless, and the rarity of this album is no wonder. The soundtrack is newly re-mastered from the original master tapes and lacquer-cut by Kevin Gray. English commentary by core member Dave Black, Korean liner notes by INSUN LEE, and an insert with rare photos are included.
