Bach's "Mass in B minor" (GCD 921112) was recorded for the first time in 20 years by the French Brügghen & 18th Century Orchestra. The prestigious Spanish label "Grossa" and their exclusive recording team "The Grand Tour" present a new performance by this supreme duo, which is the first time since the 1992 Philips release. This is the first new recording of J.S. Bach's "John Passion" since the Philips recording in 1992!　It has been 30 years since the formation of the orchestra in 1981. The members of Brüchen and the 18th Century Orchestra have been in constant dialogue with the music of J.S. Bach.The maturity and evolution of the performance and interpretation has been proven by the "Mass in B minor," and the new recording of the "John Passion," approved by Brüchen, who does not allow any compromise in recording and release, will surely be a "new miracle" of the 21st century following the "Mass in B minor.
