Following the "Evening" themed "Peace I leave with you" (COR16205), this new album introduces the sublime voices of the Maudlin College Choir and the new organ in the Maudlin College Chapel, and features a number of magnificent choral works, from Haydn to Judith Weir. The collection includes a number of magnificent choral works. The Oxford Maudlin College Choir was founded in 1480 as the largest choir in late medieval England, and this heritage has been maintained for five centuries. Today, the choir, which has gained an international reputation as one of the finest ensembles in England, sings primarily at daily church services in the Maudlin College Chapel and at numerous special events throughout the year, including the famous May Day celebration, a time-honored tradition dating back to the 16th century.In his concert activities, he has appeared at the BBC Proms and Cadogan Hall, as well as with many leading orchestras, including the Britten Sinfonia and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. Mark Williams, who has worked with many distinguished orchestras, choirs, and ensembles as a conductor, chamberlain, and organist, including as assistant organist at St. Paul's Cathedral in London, brings out the best in this magnificent choral work.
