David Quigley was born in Ireland in 1977, studied at the Leinster School of Music in Dublin and the Birmingham Conservatory of Music, and has been a finalist in the RTE Young Musician of the Future Competition and the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition. As of 2018, he is a recitalist, chamber musician, and concerto soloist performing in major concert halls around the world, while teaching piano at the Birmingham Conservatory of Music and performing with his sister, violinist Joanne Quigley, in concert and educational programs. He also teaches piano at the Birmingham Conservatory of Music and with his sister, violinist Joanne Quigley, has established Newry Chamber Music, a concert and educational programming company.
