The Legacy of Danish Violin Wizard Vandy Tvorek Vandy Tvorek (1913-1990) is considered Denmark's most popular violinist. Born in Copenhagen to Polish parents, he studied violin with Ebba Nissen and Ehring Blok, and made his debut in 1944 playing the Brahms concerto. She was a soloist at the Thursday concerts of the Danish Radio, recorded classical and popular music repertoire throughout the 1940s and 1950s, and toured England and the United States in the 1950s. He accompanied pianist and comedian Baau Rosenbaum (Victor Borg) on his tours of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, and was also an entertainer. The collection is based on the private collection of recording engineer Klaus Bülit and the reissue of Decca LPs from the Royal Library. The collection features some of Tovorek's best recordings, from Bartók's sonatas to the more technical works in which the "wizard of the violin" charmed audiences with his virtuosity. Tokyo M-Plus
