Description:
Duo Biringer's Rare Biringer! First Concerto Album Released! German violinist Lea Billinger's first concerto album features Sinding and Mendelssohn! The German violinist Leah Billinger, who is also active as a sister duo (Duo Billinger) with pianist Esther Billinger, has released her first concerto album from Rubicon! Christian Sinding (1856-1941), famous for his piano piece "Whisper of Spring," is one of the most important Norwegian composers after Grieg. He has four symphonies and is an important Norwegian symphonist. Originally an aspiring violinist, his concerto-like works for violin make up a large percentage of his orchestral works, including the three violin concertos as well as "Romance," "Legend," and "Evening Landscape." Composed in 1898, "Violin Concerto No. 1" was at the time a The "Violin Concerto No. 1," composed in 1898, was a great success at the time, but has since disappeared from the repertoire, and there are not many recordings of it. This work, cleverly composed to enhance the soloist, full of impressive melodies, and with a superb orchestral treatment, deserves to be known by a wider audience.Composed in 1910 for orchestra and violin, including harp, "Romance" is another wonderful work with a gentle, romantic sentiment similar to works by Bruch and Dvořák. Violinist Léa Billinger, who began her international career at the age of 14 with her solo debut at the Berlin Philharmonic, has performed at international festivals around the world, including the Salzburg Festival, MDR Musiksommer (MDR Music Summer), and the Davos International Music Festival. In 2008, she won the highest prize at the Brahms International Competition. Tokyo M-Plus
