Debut of "Kobutsu", a sax-fronted avant-rock band from Yamanashi that turns the Japanese cutting-edge scene upside down! Their unique instrumental music is based on no-wave punk, progressive rock, and improvised music, and their endlessly repeated riffs and odd time signatures, slow and steady song development, and somehow familiar melodies lead listeners to excitement and confusion! The name of the band is "Kobutsu," which means "little Buddha." I don't know what it means, but I imagine alterna, prog rock, hardcore, etc., but the music is mysterious. The band's music is strange, though I can imagine various kinds of alternative, prog rock, and hardcore music. This is so abrupt that I don't understand the meaning.
