Japan's world-class luthier Toyohiko Sato has created a trio "Duets for 3 Lutes" with his favorite disciple Toru Sakurada and his daughter Miki Sato! Three generations and three 8-course lutes in succession from Toyohiko Sato, who pursued "how to make more enjoyable duets" such as "three different combinations by three lute players", "different musical expressions by three generations", and "stereo effects with moving resonances" in duets (duets). The "shoulder stiffness" of the lute is a key feature of this project. The program, which Toyohiko Sato himself describes as "a fun and easy work with no stiff shoulders," consists of music from Pickering's Lute Manuscript & Shakespeare Library's Dowland Manuscript, Italian music, English music, and music by J.S. Bach, including "Greensleeves" heard on three lutes and "Invention No. 1" also have a simple sound that is very tasteful.Master and pupil, father and daughter.
