Description:

This project was launched by Spanish flutist Alimany in an attempt to preserve in sound the music of the Doppler brothers, whom he had studied with great enthusiasm for many years. At the beginning of the series, the complete works were supposed to be completed in 10 volumes, but as the series progressed, the number of pieces included increased, and the total was changed to 12 volumes. The 11th volume of the series is a rare world premiere recording, with the exception of "Fantasy on 'The Hungarian Shepherd's Song'". The three-volume "Hungarian Folk Songs" is a melody of a melancholy folk song with a technical arrangement, played on the flute with a piano that provides only the accompaniment.
