Jazz pianist Kimio Ikeda released his first piano trio album in 13 years, featuring 10 standard and original numbers with three guest players. This is a very stylish album that anyone can enjoy. The trio of Yoshinobu Yada (double bass) and Fumihiko Tanaka (drums), with whom pianist Kimio Ikeda regularly performs at the Jazz Club, is joined by guests Hiroto Ishida (tenor saxophone), Hiromu Okano (alto sax), and Miki Natsuyama (vocals) for a total of 10 songs. The famous song "Orange Sherbert" by the Count Basie Band is recorded for the first time as a combo. The album also includes the classic gems "Star Dust" and "Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans," works by the great players of the past "Bill Evans," "JJ Johnson," "Herbie Hancock," and "Joe Henderson," and two original numbers.
