Description:
Eddie Grant sang "Electric Avenue," which became a hit in the U.S. in 1983. The Equals, whose first album (released in 1967 in the U.K.) is now available in paper jacket on CD, is the origin of Eddie Grant as a musician. His signature song, "Baby Come Back," became a number one hit in the U.K., as well as in the U.S. and Japan, and was a familiar number to Western music fans. All 12 songs were originals, showing that Eddie's talent as a creator, which would later dominate as a solo artist, had already blossomed at this time.
