osterreich, the solo project by the cabs' Takahashi Kunimitsu, who began composing with the opening theme "Incompetent" for the anime Tokyo Ghoul:re and started live performances in 2019. After relentless activity, he finally releases his mini-album "Prenatal Education" after about four and a half years. This album features recordings by his familiar live band members: Ai Kamano, Mizuki Iida (cinema staff), Sohei Mishima (cinema staff), GOTO, Akinori Yamamoto (LITE), Wataru Sato (Gecko&Tokage Parade), Mei Konno, and Anzu Suhara. Centered around songs already performed live, the album features Mizuki Iida's expansive and powerful vocals. It contains six tracks, including the completely unreleased new song "still sane," composed of a heavy rhythmic feel and transparent melodies. This ambitious work encapsulates both osterreich's past and future. The jacket features the work "Blink #12" by Fukami Ohno, a promising photographer from Takahashi's hometown.
