The long-awaited 4th full-length album "Overdreamt" is released, almost 2 years after the last album! Pictured Resort is a synth-pop unit from Osaka, Japan.Overdreamt", their fourth full-length album, has been released almost two years after their third full-length album "Once Upon A Season" released in 2022! Overdreamt" follows in the footsteps of the previous album "Once Upon A Season", which featured songs with danceable and funky elements and synth sounds, and also features songs with a focus on beats and grooves, as well as songs with a more breathy synth-pop, AOR, dream pop, and vapour wave sound like the early days of the band. The album is a crossover of the various tastes that have been released so far, including songs that focus on beats and grooves, as well as songs with an AOR, dream pop, and vapor wave feel, reminiscent of the early days of the band's career.The album also features a number of singles, including the guitar boogie tune "Epiphany," a melancholic loose R&B based on vapor wave and chillwave, "Worst Dawn," and the dance track "Mild Child," a perfect match of crisp rhythm and soft vocals. In addition to the singles, the album opener "Overdreamt," with its sparkling synths and lilting guitars, is the title track, while the mid-tempo "Fantasy" is a breezy, beach-inspired song with a mid-tempo feel. Starcraft" and "Pathfinder"), and a series of fan-favorite instrumental numbers ("Starcraft" and "Pathfinder").Also included are "Your Song On The Radio," a mellow and sweet pop song that has become Pictured Resort's signature song in recent years, and "2012," a vintage sounding soft rock tune, in different versions and mixes from the previously released 7-inch single. The album artwork that adorns the songs will be available for purchase. The album artwork that adorns the songs was drawn by illustrator Kento Iida and designed by KMI. The album contains 12 songs, all of which are rich in variety and represent the "now" of Pictured Resort, which has continued to evolve over the past 10 years since its launch.
