The recording is also free from any peculiarities, and the sound is elegant and refined, and the excellent acoustics allow the audience to enjoy the three major pieces to the fullest. What we should do now is not to regret, but to pass on to the next generation what Akiyama, a musician who faced the orchestra with all his might at all times and always created music of a high standard, has accomplished. When we consider the path that Japanese orchestras have taken, we must never forget the magnitude of Akiyama's achievements.
