John Nemeth was diagnosed with a tumor in his jaw, a fatal condition for vocalists & harpists. This album, recorded in May 2022, just prior to his major surgery, will be fully donated to support his return to work after his surgery. Elvin Bishop, a senior who is well-connected with Nemeth and recognizes his talent, and Bob Welsh and Willie Jordan from his band, as well as Kid Andersen, Alabama Mike, and others, are providing full support. Nemeth's uncanny soulful voice and harmonica will explode on what may be the last recording! We just wish him a speedy recovery. John Nemeth is a singer and harpist born in Idaho in 1976. He sang gospel music in church from an early age, and at 17 formed Fat John & the 3 Slims with local friends. In 2002, he joined Junior Watson's band while leading his own band, the JACKS. He is also a top-notch harmonica player, playing with Anson Funderburgh & The Rockets, and independently released albums under the JACKS name in 2002 and 2004.In 2004, he moved to San Francisco and released "Magic Touch" on Blind Pig in 2007 under the production of Anson Funderburgh and with the help of Junior Watson and others. In the 2010s, he sang guest vocals on many of Elvin Bishop's albums, and in 2017, he formed The Love Light Orchestra with members of the Bobby Bland Band and the Bo Keys. He formed The Love Light Orchestra and just released "Leave the Light On" in 2022.
