In the second film, "Bill and Ted's Trip to Hell," dead high school students Bill and Ted become ghosts and go on a rampage in heaven and hell. And the latest film, "Bill and Ted Face the Music," the first in 29 years, tells the story of Bill and Ted, unsuccessful musicians who have built a family and travel through time to save the world. Of course, the series' familiar phone booth-shaped time machine makes an appearance, much to the delight of fans. Starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, and the screenwriting duo of Chris Mattisons and Ed Solomon! David Newman was in charge of the music for the first two films, but this time, Mark Isham is in charge of the music. This time, the music is by Mark Isham, following David Newman's style of "making a silly movie but not making the music comical, but making it authentic.The song Bill and Ted play guitar on during the end credits was performed by former Smash Mouth guitarist Leroy Miller.
