Pioneers of British heavy metal, Orange Goblin, complete their new album. The first album from Peaceville, "Science, Not Fiction," produced and mixed by Mike Exeter, known for his work with Black Sabbath, is now available from Orange Goblin, the UK metal masters who formed in London in 1995 under the name Our Haunted Kingdom. Their debut album, Frequencies From Planet Ten, was released on Rise Above in 1997 amidst the stoner rock/doom orgy of the mid-90s.Since then, the foursome has emerged, sharing the stage with legends such as Alice Cooper, Danzig, and Heaven & Hell. From early classics like Time Travelling Blues and The Big Black to more recent masterpieces like 2012's A Eulogy For The Damned and 2018's The Wolf Bites Back, a string of widely acclaimed studio albums In 2021, Orange Goblin signed with Peaceville Records.Longtime trio Ben Ward, Joe Hoare, and Chris Turner are joined by new bassist Harry Armstrong, ushering in a new era of metal chaos. Science, Not Fiction was recorded in late 2023 at Woodworm Studios in England, with production and mixing by Grammy Award-winning producer Mike Exeter, known for his work with Black Sabbath. Mastering was done by Peter Hewitt-Dutton at The Bakery in LA.
