Brainfeeder is proud to announce the release of 2023's latest album by artist Salami Rose Joe Lewis, whose unique sound combines ethereal dream pop with jazz and electronics! Artist Salami Rose Joe Louis, whose collaborations with Toro y Moi and remixes of Hiatus Cayote have made him a popular artist, has released his album "Akousmatikous" on the prestigious Flying Lotus-led Brainfeeder label! As with her previous albums, the album was mainly self-produced using her favorite Roland MV-8800 for writing, recording, and mixing, and features a number of new tracks by London duo Sucker 69 (Dan Lievers and Maxwell Hollett, who also play in The Comet Is Coming), Tro y More, and U.S.-based U.S. label U.S.A. Brijean Murphy, percussionist for bands such as Toro y More and U.S. Girls, as well as Miguel Atwood Ferguson and Sergio Machado Prim,The album features guest appearances by a number of musicians, including Jason Lindner. The album features a wide range of sounds, from ethereal dream pop and R&B to jazz and electronic experimental pop, to Brainfeeder's abstract beats and breezy, exhilarating atmospheres. The artwork for the album, a hybrid of contemporary collage and early cinematic illusion, was created by designer and filmmaker Winston Hacking, known for his collaborations with Flying Lotus, Animal Collective, and Bad Bad Not Good. The film will be released simultaneously worldwide. The CD will be released simultaneously around the world with domestic distribution and will include an instruction manual.
