Recorded by Aeolus, a renowned quality recording company for organ music, the album was performed on the Oskar Walcker Op. 2576 organ, built in 1937 in the studio of the German painter and organist Hugo Körzinger. The instrument was restored between 2015 and 2016, and organist Martin Schmöding chose music from the 15th to 18th centuries for this album. In addition, contemporary music from the 1920s to the early 20th century is also played, thus representing a wide repertoire of periods on this organ. Tokyo M-Plus
