Her album "Kakehashi" focuses on artistic views that connect the cultures of her home country and France, as well as on musical works born from cross-cultural encounters. Debussy, Ravel, and Delage take up works influenced by the music of non-European countries, while the melodies of the vocal works are sung by the flute. The three new pieces for the album are all arrangements of the Korean folklore of Arirang. It is unclear if there is an Arirang on the uninhabited Takeshima Island, but Kim So-hyun's strong persuasive power draws you in. (King International)
