APOPLEXY is a death metal band from Slovakia, formed in 1993, and has released "Dysmorphophobia (1st demo/93)", "Tears of the Unborn (1st album/95)", "Monarchy of Damned (2nd (2nd album/99)" were released. The first album "Tears of the Unborn" in particular is known as a masterpiece of Eastern European death metal with a unique melodic quality, but the band broke up shortly after the release of the second album. However, the band made a shocking comeback in 2023 with a new formation featuring two original members, and released "Destiny," their first new album in 24 years, the same year.
