Billy Joel's "Piano Man" is being reissued in its 50th anniversary edition with the latest remastered analog version. This is the second album released by the "eternal piano man" in 1973, his first for Columbia Records, in which he continues to sing about the human condition in the big city with beautiful music. This is a masterpiece that can be said to be the starting point of his career, as his debut album did not do well, and for a while he made a living playing the piano for a living. The title track "Piano Man," inspired by his experiences as a piano player, is a well-known song that has been loved throughout the ages. This album was the first step in his illustrious career, reaching No. 27 on the U.S. charts. This reissue, released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its release, features the same "Piano Man" as the 9 LP box set "The Vinyl Collection, Volume 1," which was released in November 2021, with Nashville's Sterling Sound by Ted Jensen. The remastered soundtracks are used. This reissue is a fitting tribute to the 50th anniversary of the commemorative album.
