A deluxe 2LP edition of the score soundtrack to the 1994 cult favorite supernatural thriller film "The Crow: Legend of Flight" (The Crow), which was highly acclaimed at the box office, is now available in a deluxe 2LP edition. The film's themes of love and revenge continue to be beloved by fans of the original James O'Barr comic, fans of film noir, and fans of lead actor Brandon Lee, who tragically died during filming. The music is composed by Graeme Revell, a New Zealand native. With a background in "world music," Revell has radically reshaped the grammar of film music by incorporating sounds from non-Western cultures far more extensively and skillfully than ever before. Revell's skilled hands have created a score for The Crow that is a unique blend of synthesizers, industrial, vocal, non-Western and Western elements, from tribal drums, rock guitar, children's choirs, blues riffs, and bird samples to a 50-piece string orchestra The result is dramatic and beautiful. The soundtrack was released on CD when the film was released, and this deluxe edition includes the original track list of 15 plus 14 additional tracks that were previously unreleased, for a total of 29 tracks. It also includes Revell's end title track "It Can't Rain All the Time" (performed by Jane Siberry). Graeme Revell :Hailing from New Zealand, Revell first came to prominence in the 1980s as the leader of the industrial/electronic group SPK.Later, after his breakthrough with "Dead Calm," he began working as a film music composer. Some of his best-known films include "The Crow" (1994), "Street Fighter" (1994), "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie" (1995), "From Dusk Till Dawn" (1996), "The Craft" ( 1996), The Saint (1997), The Negotiator (1998), Bride of Chucky (1998), Titan A.E. (2000), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Daredevil (2003), "Freddy vs Jason" (2003), and "Sin City" (2005). A fold-out movie poster is enclosed. The embossed, widespun jacket also features a spot gloss finish, making this a beautiful package that is a must-have for fans.
