Joan Albert Amargos is a Spanish keyboardist and contemporary musician who has been active as a keyboardist for MUSICA URBANA, a famous Spanish jazz rock band in the 70's. Since the 90's, he has been active in a variety of genres from pop music to flamenco to contemporary music. Amargos has been active in a variety of genres from pop to flamenco to contemporary music since the 90's. This 3-CD box contains three of Amargos' recordings from the 70's and 80's: CD1 is MUSICA URBANA's debut from 1976, CD2 is FELIU GASULL's 1977 album, a collaboration between Amargos and Spanish guitar player Feliu Gasull, and CD3 is a collection of his own compositions from the 80's. Amargos' first album was MUSICA URBANA. CD3 is a 1984 studio recording by TRIO ALTISENT, formed by Amargos, Gasull, and Jaume Cortadellas, the flutist of MUSICA URBANA, which appears for the first time on this CD. The recordings are all jazz-rock masterpieces. Both are masterpieces of jazz-rock!
