A full concert recording from the world tour of Page and Plant, who had a chance encounter that you never thought you'd see, and a brilliant performance that goes beyond the Zeppelin worldview! How many people could have imagined at the time that Jimmy Page and Robert Plant would perform Zeppelin songs together, starting with MTV UNPLUGGED and ending with a new album and a world tour? The real story of how it all began can only be guessed at, as both Page and Plant have different stories, but it is said that it all started when Plant called Page, who had teamed up with David Coverdale in 1993. The three of them, including Jon Paul Jones, had several chances to play Zeppelin songs, but each time they performed so badly that Plant is said to have refused to reunite with the band.Conversely, the realization of Page & Plant was difficult because it soured the relationship with Jones, who was not approached. This is the full recording of the May 1, 1995 show at Milwaukee's Bradley Center, with five additional bonus songs from the March 31 Auburn Hills show. (C)RS
