The album’s title, *Invisible Stream*, refers to the “invisible flow” that connects people, artists, improvisers, and musicians while transcending various boundaries. It is a title that perfectly captures both the music Keras and his colleagues present here and their artistic endeavors themselves. They present jazz-style arrangements of classical pieces, as well as works by contemporary composers and Ambert himself, all through their unique artistic vision. In “Song of the Evening Star,” Keras takes the lead on the cello. The interplay between the melody—which makes heavy use of chromaticism—and the beautiful, sensual ensemble is sure to make your heart skip a beat. In Schubert’s “To Music,” Ambel plays the melody. The piece unfolds at a leisurely tempo—one that would likely be challenging for vocalists due to breath control—and the drums resonate with great effect.
