Rutter's own label, Collegium, has released a long-awaited album of new recordings of his own works! The album includes six canticles and a creation, "Gift of Life," and seven religious pieces. Of particular note is "Aflower remembered," written for the victims of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, tsunami, and Fukushima nuclear accident. Aflower remembered" had its world premiere in Kyoto in March 2014, and the score has since been published and sung by various choirs, including amateur choirs.
