Lorraine Hunt Lieberson, who passed away in 2006 at the age of 52 due to complications from cancer, is pleased to announce the long-awaited reissue of one of her last works and immortal masterpieces, Handel's arias, in a remastered 2025 edition. The collection includes the aria as Irene from the oratorio "Theodora," Lucrezia "Oh Eternal Gods," and the aria "Ombra mai fu" from the immortal masterpiece "Serse. Lorraine's haunting interpretations of these performances will be timelessly loved. Conductor and leading Baroque musician Harry Bicket recalls that when he first met Lorraine in 1996 during rehearsals for "Theodora" at Glyndebourne, a musical connection was formed between them, and it was only natural that a recording session with her should take place.
